Position Details
Department: Street Department
Reports To: Street Department Lead Worker
Wage: $25.50/hour (per IUOE Local 965 agreement)

What You'll Do

  1. Maintain and repair streets, sidewalks, and storm sewers
  2. Operate equipment including backhoes, dump trucks, skid loaders, mini excavators, and sewer vacs
  3. Maintain and repair street signs
  4. Perform snow removal for Village streets and properties
  5. Assist other Village departments as needed

Qualifications

  1. 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
  2. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs regularly
  3. High school diploma or GED
  4. Must obtain CDL within probationary period (per union agreement)
  5. Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft applications)
