Dan and his wife Amy moved to Chatham in 2000. They have three children, Hannah and Abby, both college students and son Noah who is a Senior at Glenwood High School. Dan works for the State of Illinois.
Dan has long been involved with the Village of Chatham having served previously as a Village Trustee and as a member of the Chatham Plan Commission. Currently, he is a member of the Chatham Jaycees, the Chatham Chamber of Commerce, and the Breckenridge Homeowners Association. He also is an elected Trustee of the Chatham Area Public Library District and is an appointed Fire Commissioner with the Chatham Community Fire Protection District.
When Dan is not doing things with his family, he likes to read, watch sports, grill and listen to music.
